The government of Catalonia has threatened Spain international courts because of the violence during the referendum on independence.

“Spain has compromised itself and will answer [for this] in the international courts,” – said the official representative of the Catalan government Jordi Turull.

According to the latest data, 465 people were injured in clashes with police on the day of the referendum on the independence of Catalonia.
Meanwhile in Barcelona, the Catalan capital, the police are conducting an investigation into the deaths of three people in one of the buildings. However, it is unknown whether their deaths with a referendum.

In Catalonia on 1 October began a referendum on independence, despite the ban of the authorities of Spain. The police began to confiscate the ballot boxes and to disperse the people who came to vote.

Against supporters of independence of Catalonia law enforcement officers used batons and rubber bullets.

According to the latest data of the Catalan authorities, the turnout in the referendum amounted to 50 percent.
